Stefanie Rivas, APRN, FNP-C

Born in San Antonio and raised in Texas, Stefanie has been a DFW resident since she was 12 years old. After graduating from highschool, she headed north, completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Oklahoma, and upon graduating returned home to begin her nursing career in Dallas.

Stefanie has nine years of nursing experience at Baylor University Medical Center downtown, where she gained invaluable knowledge, know-how, and excellent practical experience in the Trauma ICU and Cardiac/Vascular Surgery Recovery. Stefanie went on to complete her MSN at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she completed many of her clinical hours at Lakewood Family Health under the mentorship of Kendra Breithaupt and Alyssa Haycock.

​After graduating with her MSN, Stefanie began her NP career at Baylor University Medical Center in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. Stefanie is excited to transition her career as a nurse practitioner to family, preventative medicine, wellness, and health promotion.
 
Stefanie loves to travel and experience new places, spend time with her family and friends, try new restaurants, exercise, and is always looking for the next adventure. She enjoys staying active, and also relaxing with her husband and dog.
