Tara Cavazos, DNP, APRN, FNP-BCTara Cavazos grew up in Norman, OK. She studied nursing at Baylor University, and upon graduation worked in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Dallas. Tara earned her Master's Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she was an MSN Academic Scholar. She received her doctoral degree at Duke University graduating at the top of her class.
Tara is a member of both local and national advanced practice organizations. She serves as a consultant and medical advisory board member for a large, preventive healthcare provider. One of her biggest joys is giving back to those most in need. She spent the last 10 years volunteering at a local urgent care clinic for the underserved here in Dallas and attends medical mission trips with LatMed International. In her free time, she enjoys cheering on her kids from the sidelines, being outdoors, live music, and traveling internationally. |
